While studying in the university, she worked part-time at Kampong Thom Province, dealing with tasks related to fish paste at Stung Chinit Community. Furthermore, during her thesis research, she worked as a volunteer researcher with WAP (The Wetlands Alliance Program) on the livelihood status and utilization of coastal fisheries resource in coastal community and extension of crab bank at Kampot Province.
