1. House of Europe

House of Europe is a EU-funded programme fostering professional and creative exchange between Ukrainians and their colleagues in EU*1 countries. The programme focuses on culture and creative industries, education, health, social entrepreneurship, media, and youth.

This encompasses 20+ separate programme lines enabling us to go for conferences, professional events, internships, and networking in the EU*, or to enrol in study tours, residencies, training, and other forms of support. House of Europe funds cultural coproductions and cooperations between Ukrainian and EU* organisations, along with the development of cultural infrastructure and artistic concepts for youth in . Finally, the programme offers various youth camps and an intra-Ukrainian university

Implementation of House of Europe is led by Goethe-Institut Ukraine, with the , Institut français, and Czech Centres as consortium partners.

2. What is this call about?

We are looking for a translation agency to take over the oral and written translation of the content in the sphere of health. The languages of translation are Ukrainian, English, Czech, Polish, German, Estonian, Slovak, Lithuanian, Latvian.

We expect you to start working in June 2021. Your involvement is needed in seven projects planned for 2021. There will be more tasks in 2022 and 2023.

Written translation of: ▪ Presentations ▪ Short test tasks ▪ European Healthcare Standards ▪ Documents and agreements ▪ Subtitles for videos

Oral consecutive and simultaneous translation of: ▪ Online Q&A meetings ▪ Online lectures

You will also be responsible for: ▪ Notarisation and judicial notice of documents ▪ Proofreading of interviews, articles, brochures, certificates, etc. ▪ Preparation of script with time-codes for translation ▪ Production of subtitles in .srt format

2 4. What do I need to apply?

▪ Legal person: LLC or sole proprietor ▪ Experience with translation of content in the field of health or similar. We will ask you to provide a signed confirmation.

To enter the tender, you need to fall under all these categories.

5. How do I apply?

Please submit your application along with the supporting documents via our online platform. Choose ‚Health care’ is the field ‚Chapter’ and ‚Search for partner: translation agency’.

The deadline is Monday 14 June 2021, 15.00 time.

6. What additional documents do I need to provide?

▪ Budget. Please use our template. ▪ Signed confirmation that you have an experience in the sphere of health or similar field. Please use our template. ▪ Extract from the State register of legal entities, sole proprietor and public formations. Please make sure the extract was created no longer than 90 days ago.

7. How is the partner selected?

We will select a partner in a closed tender. Preference is given to the lowest offer without VAT. There will be at least three other bidders.

Divide the price offer into the price without VAT, the VAT and the total price.

8. How will the partnership be regulated?

You will sign an agreement with Czech Centres for two years from June 2021 until 31 March 2023.
