CONSULTANTS: CALL FOR RESUMES AND CURRICULUM VITAES

Purpose: mothers2mothers (m2m) is collecting resumes and CVs from experienced professionals for potential short-term assignments in the Southern Africa and Eastern Africa region. Focus areas include: RMNCH, PMTCT, Gender-based violence, OVCs, BCC, and organizational development. Expertise required in program design, proposal development, M&E, and training. All candidates must have an advanced degree, at least 3 years’ related experience, fluent English, and the ability to travel. Consultants will be paid on the basis of a negotiated daily rate and travel and per diem will be paid separately.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific duties and responsibilities, as well as reporting and working relationships, will vary according to each assignment and will be specified at the time of contracting. Assignments may include regional travel.

Qualifications and Experience: B.S. or B.A. degree in Training, Social Development, International Development, Social Policy/ Science, Master’s Degree in public health/related field preferred Minimum 3 years’ work experience in project management, material design and development, training, capacity development in an international or NGO context, M&E or Quality Assurance Experience working in an NGO, non-profit setting Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Competencies: Proven leadership, management, co-ordination & teamwork skills Excellent English language - oral and written communication skills & interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to work independently Passionate commitment to make a difference in the lives of women and children Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations Ability to manage heavy workloads and solve complex problems with minimum supervision
