Why? Lots of reasons—our small size; the fact that our faculty are here because they prize helping our students; our location in Pittsburgh, a city that’s a national hub for healthcare and education, focused on ideas and innovation (and in which we’ve built tons of connections across disciplines over our nearly 150 years here). “I realized my education was surprisingly better than my friends’. In my second year, I was doing internships, research, and other experiences. They were all just sitting in the classroom.”
