MEET YOUR NEW CURATE My name is Kath Cooke and I’ve just started as the new curate at St Leonard’s Church Eynsham and St Peter’s Cassington. I was ordained, together with my husband Phil, in Christchurch Cathedral, Oxford at the end of June. Phil has also just started as a curate, in Hanborough and Freeland just up the road. So we are looking forward to meeting lots of new people – hopefully many of you – in the next few weeks and months. I’ve actually been commuting from Reading for a few weeks while our children were still at school. But we are planning to move to the area during August. Daniel, who’s 15, is a keen drummer and cricketer, while his sister Hannah, who’s 13, enjoys dance and art and is great with young As a family we enjoy music, good food (especially children. There are some toys and books available at the back of the church for younger children to use during the services. Teenagers are welcome to stay in church or to come to help at Sunday Club. There is a Youth Club in Eynsham on Friday evenings and various Cell Groups during the week. Sunday Club is for primary and pre-school aged children.
