PART A: WEATHER A.1. Synoptic situation during last three days from 28-08-2021 to 30-09-2021

28-09-21: The Depression over Telangana and adjoining areas of & moved westnorthwestwards with a speed of 26 kmph during last 06 hours and lay centered at 0830 hrs IST of 28th September 2021 over southwest Vidarbha & neighbourhood near Lat. 19.4°N and Long. 77.3°E, about 60 km eastnortheast of Parbhani (Marathwada) and 250 km southwest of (Vidarbha). It is likely to move westnorthwestwards and weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next 06 hours. The system is likely to emerge into northeast Arabian Sea & adjoining Gujarat coast around 30th September and there is likelihood for the system to further intensity over northeast Arabian Sea during subsequent 24 hours. Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over Northeast & adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, a Low Pressure Area has formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal & adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal. The associated cyclonic circulation extends upto midtropospheric levels. It is likely to become more marked during next 24 hours. 29-09-21: The Well Marked Low Pressure Area over central parts of Gangetic West Bengal now lies over western parts of Gangetic West Bengal and neighborhood and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid-tropospheric levels. 30-09-21:

The Depression over northeast Arabian Sea & adjoining Kutch moved nearly westwards with a speed about 28 kmph during past 03 hours and lay centered at 0830 hours IST of today, the 30th September 2021, over northeast Arabian Sea off Gujarat coast, near Lat. 22.7° N and Long. 68.6° E, about 60 km west-northwest of Devbhoomi Dwarka (Gujarat), 280 km east-southeast of Karachi (Pakistan) and 860 km east-southeast of Chabahar Port (Iran). It is very likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into Deep Depression over northeast Arabian Sea off north Gujarat coast during next 12 hours. Then it is very likely to move further west-northwestwards and intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during the subsequent 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards close to Pakistan-Makran coasts, moving away from the the Indian coast. The Well Marked Low Pressure Area over northwest Jharkhand & neighbourhood now lies over north Jharkhand & adjoining Bihar and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto 7.6 km above mean sea level. Rice  To control the incidence and further spread of Bacterial Leaf Blight (BLB), spray Agrimycin @ 0.4 g or Plantomycin@ 0.2g per litre water.  Prevailing weather conditions are congenial for incidence of False smut disease in rice. To control, spray Propiconazole @ 1 ml per litre of water.  Prevailing weather conditions are congenial for incidence of Blast disease in rice. Monitor the incidence of the disease and if noticed, spray Tricyclazole @ 0.5 g or Isoprothiolane @ 0.5 ml or Kasugamycin @ 2.5 ml per litre of water.

Cotton  Prevailing weather conditions are congenial for incidence of Para Wilt in cotton. To control, soil drench with Copper oxy chloride @ 3 g per liter of water.  Prevailing weather conditions are congenial for incidence of Leaf spot and Sucking Pests in cotton. To control, spray Carbendazim @ 1 g + Acephate @ 1.5 g per liter of water.  Prevailing weather conditions are congenial for incidence of Boll Rot and Black arm disease in Cotton. To control, spray Paushamycin @ 1 g or Streptocycline @ 1 g and Copper oxy chloride @ 30 g per 10 liter of water thrice at 15 days interval.  Reddening of leaves is noticed in cotton. To control spray Magnesium Sulphate @ 10 g and Zinc Sulphate @ 2 g per liter of water twice in 10 days interval.  Prevailing weather conditions are congenial for incidence of flower drop and boll drop in cotton. Vegetables  If incidence of sucking pests is noticed. Citrus  Prevailing weather conditions are congenial for flower and fruit drop in citrus. To control, spray Carbendazim @ 100 g + Planofix @ 1.5 g per 100 liters of water.  To control citrus mite, spray Spiromesifen @ 1 ml or Dicofol @ 3 ml per liter of water.

Guava  Prevailing weather conditions are congenial for Wilt disease in Guava. To control, avoid stagnation of water at the tree basin and take up soil drenching in the tree basin with Carbendazim @ 1 g per liter of water.

Livestock & Poultry  Prevailing weather conditions are congenial for the occurrence of - Ranikhet disease in poultry, ET, sheep pox and PPR in Sheep - Hemorrhagic Septicemia, Foot and mouth disease in cattle and Buffaloes. To prevent the diseases, vaccinate the animals

As per the forecast received from Meteorological Centre, Hyderabad, There is light to moderate rainfall. Maximum temperature may ranges between 34-34°C and night time temperature (minimum) around 24-25°C. Morning RH 89-94% and afternoon humidity may ranges between 54-62 % respectively. South eastern winds may blow at a speed of 6-12 kmph.

Brinjal The Prevailing weather conditions are favourable for stem and fruit borer in brinjal. To control remove the affected stem & fruits, spray monochrotophos @ 1.6 ml or thiodicarb @ 1 gr / liter of water is recommended. LIVESTOCK Buffalo Prevailing weather conditions are favourable for Pneumonia and Mouth &Foot diseases in Buffalo. To control go for vaccination. Sheep Prevailing climate may cause the sheep fox disease in the sheep & goat and farmer are advised to vaccination to animals.
