The ability to play the course at over seven thousand yards from the tips with opportunities for Championship pin positions, gives the most accomplished players a superior test of skill. The Olde Course greens were recently re-grassed in state of the art TifEagle turf, which reinvigorated the classic undulations and movement originally designed, providing sustained putting speeds that require all players to bring their best touch to the game! Long known for his relationship with Golf Digest Schools, Toski quickly set the standard for St. Andrews Country Club golf programs and education. Toski was inducted into the South Florida PGA Hall of fame in 2007 and named Pro Emeritus at St. Andrews Country Club in 2008. He frequently participates in Club events. In 1994 Martin Hall, one of Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers joined St. Andrews Country Club as an instructor while studying under the guidance of Toski and Peter Kostis. Hall was later promoted to Director of Instruction and with his tutelage; Morgan Pressel began her professional golf journey. As an LPGA Touring Professional, Pressels’ record is impressive: two LPGA victories the 2007 Kraft Nabisco Championship and the 2008 Kapalua LPGA Classic and The Solheim Cup in both 2007 and 2009. Pressel continues to play at St. Andrews Country Club and hosts the Morgan & Friends Tournament each January exclusively for Members and Guests who aid in her fight against breast cancer. Glenn Hall, currently listed by Golf Digest as one of America’s Best Teachers and two-time Michigan PGA Teacher of the Year linked with St. Andrews Country Club as Director of Golf in 2004. Hall arrived fresh from the Champion’s Tour assisting his close friend and former Champion’s Tour Leading Money Winner, Bruce Fleisher. During this time, Hall also supported David Graham, a former U.S. Open and PGA Champion and tour veteran, Mike Smith. As a former assistant to Toski, Hall continues the tradition of golf through innovative instruction and challenging programs, carrying on the legacy at St. Andrews. ST.
