The charity has enabled work across each of these components and has published several reports which have provided the basis of new legislation, government policy or practice. For the last decade, the charity has focused on developing the Safe Systems approach, and in particular leading the establishment of the European Road Assessment Programme (EuroRAP) in the UK and, through EuroRAP, the global UK-based charity International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP).
