The course is delivered through a dynamic range of lectures given by leaders in the field, from surgeons and academics alike. Modules covered include introduction to research methods, core and specialist principles of surgery and surgical technology, which will add focus on the modernisation of surgical practice through innovative technology such as robotic and laparoscopic surgery. The course will feature heavily on practical aspects of surgery and hands on experience. Technical skills sessions will be held at the Olympus Simulation Centre at Guy’s Hospital and Weston Education Centre at King’s College Hospital, where you will have access to the latest simulation technology in surgery.
