Smithsonian Folklife Festival Welcome to the 2005 Smithsonian Folklife Festival! Grab a pencil, and get ready for a challenge! With this guide, you can find mystery ingredients in the Food Culture USA program; become a Junior Forest Ran ger in the Forest Service, Culture, and Community program; and follow Sindbad the Sailor across the oasis, desert, Food Cultu re USA and sea in the Oman program. Along the way, you’ll learn where your food comes from, find out how to identify animals by their tracks, watch camel decorating, and a lot more. This guide includes activities to earn different rewards in all three programs. Pick one, two, or all three.
