BBB. One 14 karat yellow gold pearl pendant.
Notice of this forfeiture proceeding was published on the official government internet site (www.forfeiture.gov) for 30 consecutive days beginning on June 10, 2011.
No timely petitions have been filed with this Court and the time has expired.
On June 16, 2011, notice of this criminal forfeiture was mailed, return, receipt requested to Derek White, in North Bend, Oregon and was received. The United
States Attorney’s Office received a phone message from Mr. White who stated that he has chosen to not file a claim in this criminal forfeiture action.
PAGE 7 FINAL ORDER OF FORFEITURE United States v. Saia, 11-CR-60044-AA On June 16, 2011, notice of this criminal forfeiture was mailed, return, receipt requested to Karen Campbell, Senior Investigative Agent for Wells Fargo Bank, and was received.
The United States received a Petition from Pearl Leimomi Moore requesting three pieces of jewelry back that belonged to Ms. Moore. Upon further inquiry, the
United States Attorneys Office agreed to return to Ms. Moore one sterling silver
Hawaiian bracelet (#KK on the Preliminary Order of Forfeiture ), one sterling silver
Hawaiian bracelet (#LL on the Preliminary Order of Forfeiture ) and one 14 karat pearl and diamond pendant (#SS on the Preliminary Order of Forfeiture ). On August 7,
2011, Ms. Moore received her jewelry.
The Court finds that defendant Shawna Leimomi Saia had an interest in the above-described property that is subject to forfeiture pursuant to 18 U.S.C. §
982(a)(2)(A).
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that pursuant to 18 U.S.C. §
982(a)(2)(A), all right, title, and interest to the following assets are hereby forfeited and vested in the United States of America, free and clear of the claims of any person, including Shawna Leimomi Saia, Derek White and Pearl L. Moore. The United States
Marshal for the District of Oregon is directed to transfer custody of the property to the
Attorney General of the United States for disposition in accordance with the law.
