Wheelchair Seating and Positioning is designed to provide professionals and therapists with a hands-on, working knowledge of wheelchair seating and positioning systems. Participants will be able to identify postural issues and deformities which may be present within a client and incorporate those considerations into the creation of a custom seating system. Techniques will be implemented as attendees will personally be adapting, carving, and creating mock seating systems and, in the process, gain valuable knowledge that can be implemented immediately in .
