VIKINGS VISIT RICHARD M. SCHULZE FAMILY AMERICAN COMMUNITY CANCER SOCIETY HOPE LODGE outreach T Aviante Collins and LB Ifeadi Odenigbo visited The Richard M. Schulze Family American Cancer Society Hope Lodge on October 9. While there, they spent time with residents and their caregivers and served a meal.

All Hope Lodge communities offer a supportive environment where guests can share a meal, join in the evening’s activities, or unwind in their VIKINGS VISIT LOCAL BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS own private room. Patients staying at a Hope Lodge must be in active cancer treatment and 10 visited three local Boys and Girls Clubs, Mount Airy, Southside Village and Little Earth, permanently reside more than 40 miles or one on October 1. hour away from their cancer treatment center. Participating in after-school programs and actvities, including art projects and homework help, were DT , DT , DE , LB , RB , RB , WR Olabisi Johnson, RB , FB C.J. Ham and FB Khari Blasingame.

KENDRICKS KICKS OFF “SACKTOBER” TO COMBAT CHILDHOOD HUNGER LB Eric Kendricks is asking fans to make a pledge with him for every sack the Vikings record during the month of October. Donations will be matched by Cargill up to $15,000. and proceeds will support The Sheridan Story, a nonprofit focused on the weekend food gap, when children aren’t able to receive free and reduced meal programs at school.

At the end of each school week, the organization provides more than 5,500 children throughout the Twin Cities with a weekend supply of substantive, nutritious food.
