FEATURING NANO PERFORMANCE FABRICS

Luxury Fabrics was the first fabric distributor to include NANO performance finish as standard on many of our fabric selections. As this permanent finish has become more popular there are many trade names that are represented. We offer Nanotex, DEFEND, Barricade, NANOSPHERE, and Nanolux just to name a few.

These are high performance nanotechnology finishes that build permanent spill and stainRESISTANCE into the fiber structure of the fabric. We understand the need to have superior stain resistance on fabrics for home and office environments. As a “No Charge” upgradeVALUE ADDED feature, we are dedicated to providing the best possible product for your customer. Finish available noted on all bottom strips.

These performance finishes enhance the fabric with the following: • Repels liquids including but not limited to water, wine, coffee, soda, ketchup and mustard • Provides permanent stain protection use after use • Nano products are a snap to clean with soap (we suggest Dawn) and water. Rinse thoroughly after each cleaning and blot with a clean white cloth.

Suggested Applications / Markets include Healthcare, educational, hospitality, worship, and residential seating, pews and booths.

VENETA TECHNICAL DATA: DESCRIPTION: Finish Type: Semi-Aniline Veneta is tanned on European cowhide in Italy and features a soft silky Content: European Cowhide hand with a light two-tone which gives the surface depth and character. Country Finished: Italy A clear water based top coat provides an upscale look and allows Veneta Size: 50 sq ft (+/-) to be used in high traffic residential, hospitality, and contract applications. Veneta will add simple elegance to any interior. Please contact our Thickness: 0.9-1.1 mm customer service department for stock and availability. Two week lead Full Hides Only time. TOSCANA TECHNICAL DATA: DESCRIPTION: Finish Type: Protected Toscana combines the best of contemporary colors with traditional Content: European Cowhide protected leather to create a modern and made to last leather. A soft and Country Finished: Italy supple hand with a protective top coat that allows Toscana to be used in Size: 50 sq ft (+/-) high traffic settings such as hospitality, contract as well as family rooms. HOW TO ORDER LEATHER Leather is sold by the hide on a square foot basis. Whole hides run about 45-55 sq. ft. Equivalents of leather (square feet to fabric yardage) are shown below: 800.253.3800

You may also email orders to: [email protected], or visit www.luxuryfabrics.com to place your order online. Please note that special orders for non-stock items cannot be canceled once processed. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express for your convenience when ordering. Minimum order is one (1) yard per item.

FABRIC DYE LOTS & VERIFICATION: Fabric colorations will vary from roll to roll. Fabrics are not guaranteed against fading through exposure to the sun or atmospheric conditions. It is not possible to guarantee an exact color match from the sampled to shipped fabric; if exact color is required, please request a cutting from our current stock. We keep an internal record of the piece number from which your fabric was cut; if additional fabric is needed to finish your job, please specify when ordering, as every attempt will be made to cut from the original roll. As a convenience to you, we will be happy to drop-ship your order to a workroom or alternate address upon request; it is then their responsibility to check for color and quality prior to cutting. Requests for flaw allowances or shortage must be made immediately upon receipt of merchandise.

SHIPPING: We do our best to ship all orders the same day they are received. Unless otherwise specified your order will be shipped UPS or Fed Ex GROUND to the most current shipping address we have on file. Various Next Day, 2nd Day and 3rd Day AIR services are available for an additional charge.

RETURNS: All return requests must be made within 30 days of date of invoice. All returns will be subject to a restocking fee of 20% plus freight in/out and handling charges unless the return is deemed to be the result of an internal error. PRIOR AUTHORIZATION is required for any return request. NO returns will be accepted for orders less than three (3) yards. NO return will be accepted if the fabric has been cut or damaged, no exception.

CLAIMS: Please contact the customer service department for any claim issue that may arise. We will address and review the claim request at that time. Information required would be date of purchase, nature of complaint, photos of the issue and possibly a sample of the fabric in question for referral to the mill. NO CREDIT will be given for labor or installation at anytime.

FABRIC SAMPLES: When it is necessary to see a larger cutting of a particular fabric, in order to fully evaluate pattern, color or texture, you may request a memo sample. This is a non-returnable 1/4-yd cutting of fabric, and it will be sent to you, or anyone designated by you, at no charge for the sample. There will be a small charge of $5.00 to cover postage and handling. There will be an additional charge if multiple memo samples are ordered at the same time. You may also request a swatch cutting of fabric. This is a 5” x 7” envelope-sized swatch taken from a cutting stock roll, and is often used for color verification. We will be happy to mail this to you or your customer at no cost. We will make every attempt to send memo sample and swatch cutting requests the next business day.

PILLING INFORMATION: It is important to note that pilling is not a fabric defect or fault, and is not covered under warranty. It can be compared to the shedding experienced when purchasing a new sweater or new carpet – think about the way newly installed carpet or a new sweater behaves, as there are constantly new loose fibers coming to the surface over the first few months of use. This is completely normal and will reduce once the excess fibers are gone. Consumers are sometimes concerned that pilling means that the fabric is wearing away and disintegrating – this is not the case. Pilling is a normal occurrence caused

…continues on next page 800.253.3800 by wear and tear, and does not affect the durability or functionality of the fabric. It is easily removable. How do I remove pilling? The quickest and most effective approach is to use a battery operated pill shaver to remedy the situation. These small, cheap appliances are available in most sewing stores or the sewing area of large department stores. A pumice stone pill remover or pill comb are also effective, and both perform the same task manually. If pilling reoccurs, it can simply be shaved off again. This may occur several times, but the pilling will diminish and eventually cease once the excess fibers are removed.

RAILROADED FABRICS: The term “railroaded” means the fabric is printed or woven so that the pattern would appear correct if looked at from the selvage side. The purpose of a fabric being “railroaded” is that it can be used in one piece (e.g., on a sofa back where no seam is desired). Often, railroaded fabrics will use less material due to less waste and/or need for pattern matching. In most cases, fabric samples will clearly state whether or not they are “railroaded.” When in doubt, please call us and we will be happy to assist you. Please note that some patterns are multi-directional and will appear correct if applied either way.

SAMPLE BOOKS: All fabric sample books are loaned to customers for use but remain the property of Luxury Fabrics. We reserve the right to request the return of our books due to inactivity or any other reason. Failure to return all books in your possession will result in a charge to your account for each book not returned.

Clean & Care Instructions for fabrics protected with Nano protection Don’t wait; the best way to protect fabrics is to remove spills and stains from them as soon as possible. Nano-Tex® minimizes staining in protected fabrics, but cleaning may still be necessary. So remove spills immediately to make sure there will be minimal to no staining on the fabric. But don’t worry; if spills go unnoticed for a while, Nano-Tex® will make sure that your fabric cleans quickly and above all easily. Just follow the instructions below. Beyond Spill-Proof ALL FABRIC APPLICATIONS Durable, Clean liquid spills quickly with a dry, clean dry cloth: • For liquid spills, gently blot (don’t rub) spill immediately with an absorbent cloth while spill is still fresh. Breathable, • Wipe off with clean water and a dry, clean cloth if needed. Cleanable For semi-solid spills, try to lift the spot off of the fabric: • Working in a circular motion or removing the spill from the side is often the best means to lift spills from the fabric. • Change towel surface frequently until spot has been transferred off of the fabric and onto the absorbent cleaning cloth. Try to avoid pressing the spill or spreading the stain. • Wipe off with clean water and a dry, clean cloth if needed.

For stubborn spills: • If a spill does not come off with water and a dry, clean cloth, add a mild detergent mixed with water and repeat circular motion. Mild detergents such as Sport Wash, Tide Free, or Cheer Free work best. • If a stain remains, a solvent may be needed to remove the stubborn stain. It is recommended to use odorless mineral spirits, dry cleaning fluid perchloroethylene orFantastik Orange Action All Purpose Cleaner. Bleach can also be used on bleach cleanable fabrics. • Wipe off with water and a dry, clean cloth. Do not rub harshly. The harder you rub when cleaning a spill, the deeper the soil can penetrate between the fibers. • Remove all soap residue from the surface with clean water. 800.253.3800
