Prime Objectives Newspaper Column January 2008 READING INTO SUCCESS

The most successful people in the world develop successful habits. It is no secret the most common habit the most influential people in the world share is a passion for reading. They read more than one newspaper a day, they customize their Internet home pages to reference specific information quickly and easily. They read magazines that align with their professional and personal interests and they have a personal “Success Library” of books that impact their life. If you have read this far, “Congratulations” on your desire to further develop your habit.

Periodically my executive and entrepreneur coaching clients ask for a “Suggested Reading” list. I’ve never published one until now. My personal library contains literally hundreds of books and growing. With the creative license to revise my “Suggested Reading” list at any time, I simply trusted my intuition in sharing the following 12 books with you.

The selection process focused on books that were not only personal favorites, but also impacted the success of thousands, even millions of other people. I decided on a checklist format for the convenience of selecting books that appeal to you.
