Kajian Budaya Politik Melayu Dalam Pilihan Raya Kecil Hulu Selangor, Selangor Malay Political Culture Studies on by Election in Hulu Selangor, Selangor
Jurnal Melayu (8) 2011: 153 - 172 KAJIAN BUDAYA POLITIK MELAYU DALAM PILIHAN RAYA KECIL HULU SELANGOR, SELANGOR MALAY POLITICAL CULTURE STUDIES ON BY ELECTION IN HULU SELANGOR, SELANGOR JUNAIDI AWANG BESAR MOHD FUAD MAT JALI MOHD FAIDZ MOHD ZAIN ABSTRAK Pilihan Raya Kecil (PRK) Parlimen Hulu Selangor diadakan berikutan kematian penyandangnya iaitu Allahyarham Zainal Abidin Ahmad daripada Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) pada 25 Mac 2010. -

Nitrate Levels in the Surface Waters Collected in 2005 from Intertidal and Urban Drainages of the West Part of Peninsular Malaysia
International Journal of Hydrology Research Article Open Access Nitrate levels in the surface waters collected in 2005 from intertidal and urban drainages of the west part of Peninsular Malaysia Abstract Volume 4 Issue 2 - 2020 The intertidal and urban waters of west Peninsular Malaysia are interesting area for ecotoxicological studies because they receive wastes due to agricultural, municipal and Chee Kong Yap,1 Wan Hee Cheng,2 Bin Huan industrial wastes along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Surface water samplings Pang,1 Fairuz Md Suptian,1 Shih Hao Tony were conducted from the intertidal coastal waters and from urban rivers/drainages from Peng,3 Mohd Hafiz Ibrahim,1 Chee Wah Yap,4 northern to southern parts of the west coastal areas of Peninsular Malaysia between January Moslem Sharifinia,5 Alireza Riyahi Bakhtiari,6 and April 2005. These nitrate levels in the south western part ranged from 0.33-0.56mg/L Salman Abdo Al-Shami,7 Chee Seng Leow,8 while those in the north western part ranged from 0.11 to 1.91mg/L. These nitrate levels Mohamad Saupi Ismail9 in these intertidal waters were much lower than those found for urban drainages (0.45 to 1 2.27mg/L) of Peninsular Malaysia. Overall, the mean values for the nitrate concentrations Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia (mg/L) follow: Urban drainages (1.04)>north western intertidal (0.79)>south western 2Inti International University, Persiaran Perdana BBN, Malaysia intertidal (0.43). Carey Island’S Port: Is It a “Need” Or “Want” ? Statement of Objectives
社会经济研究中心 SOCIO-ECONOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE Part 3: Carey Island’s port: Is it a “Need” or “Want” ? Statement of objectives • The idea of developing Carey Island’s port was conceptualised following the remarks that existing ports in the Port Klang area will hit maximum capacity. In early 2017, Port Klang Authority (PKA) had announced existing ports in the area will reach maximum capacity by 2025. • In April 2017, MMC Corporation Bhd has signed two agreements: (1) The first one with Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) to conduct a feasibility study of Carey Island as an extension of Port Klang; and (2) Second MoU with Sime Darby Property Bhd and APSEZ to study the feasibility of developing an integrated maritime city in Carey Island. • In July 2018, another feasibility study under new administration will be independently conducted and commissioned by Port Klang Authority (PKA). As of now, previous government had not issued approval for the Carey Port. Transport Minister Anthony Loke indicated that the project will be private initiative-driven if the Parliament approved. • The objectives of this working paper are to provide an overview of the port development in Carey Island and also to assess the potential of the Carey Island project that can enhance the surrounding development. Socio-Economic Research Centre 1 Scope of the study Section 1: An overview of Carey Island • Illustrate some facts, the development status and hinterland connections about Carey Island. Section 2: Site and location analysis • Describe the land ownership of Carey Island, including an estimation of opportunity cost on Sime Darby Plantation’s arable land and palm oil revenue if Carey Port has to be implemented. -

Rift In PAS Due To Deviation From Original Struggle Bernama December 23, 2011 KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 23 (Bernama) -- The rift between former Perak PAS commissioner Datuk Dr Hasan Mohamed Ali and several senior PAS leaders appears to be worsening over several issues including Hasan's allegation that PAS has deviated from its original struggle to set up an Islamic country. Many PAS members are actually unhappy with the party's policy to set up a welfare nation as its struggle all this while been to establish an Islamic country. Hasan's voice should not be seen as only his alone as it represents a fair portion of the grassroot members. "I have the facts and proof that PAS members who all this while been supporting PAS are beginning to question and mulling whether to continue to support PAS as it has deviated from its main struggle," said Dr Hasan, who is also the PAS assemblyman for Gombak and a Selangor state executive councillor. PAS is now is seen as being too yielding to its coalition partners, the DAP and PKR, on the seizure of liquor in Shah Alam, the apostasy issue, entertainment prohibition in Kedah and the one million Muslims assembly held at the Shah Alam stadium recently. Since the rift erupted two weeks ago, Hasan's stand has begun to gather momentum among PAS members. On this, independent member of Parliament for Kulim-Bandar Baharu Datuk Zulkifli Noordin said that the people would reject PAS's Welfare Nation Policy as it was not consistent with its struggle. He said PAS in 2003 presented its Islamic Nation Document to oppose the concept of Islam Hadhari introduced by former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. -
