Leadership Training propels Scouts and their units forward. For Boy Scouts, the National Youth Leadership Training program hits the mark. National Youth Leadership Training® (NYLT) is a week-long leadership training course which teaches skills needed by an effective leader. Scouts hone their vision, leadership, communication and outdoor skills—then apply the “EDGE” model to sharing leadership. NYLT is not summer camp, but an intense, challenging leadership experience. Boy Scouts must be at least 13 years old, have completed seventh grade by first day of the course, and be at least a First Class Scout. The course is also open to Venturers. Join us for our one of two opportunities for NYLT: NYLT @ Camp Pico Blanco; and, Bristlecone NYLT at Camp Chesebrough.
