You can grow and play all your life.” —Elvin Bishop THE LIFE AND LEGEND OF LESLIE ‘LAZY LESTER’ JOHNSON UP ON THE RIDGE in Paradise lives a blues music legend La., that fate turned his way. Bob Corritore Bio Bob Corritore is one of the most active and highly regarded blues harmonica players on the scene today. His style passionately carries forward the old school of playing that Corritore learned as a young man directly from many of original pioneers of Chicago Blues. His sympathetic, yet fiery harmonica playing is featured on over 25 releases to date, on labels such as HighTone, HMG, Blue Witch, Blind Pig, Earwig, Putumayo, Random Chance, and the VizzTone Label Group. Many of these acclaimed releases have been nominated for various Handy, Grammy, and Blues Music Awards. Bob is also widely recognized for his many roles in the blues, as band leader, club owner, record producer, radio show host, arts foundation founder, and occasional writer. His amazing website www.bobcorritore.com and his weekly e-newsletter reflect a life thoroughly invested in the blues. Born on September 27, 1956 in Chicago, Bob first heard Muddy Waters on the radio at age 12, an event which changed his life forever. Within a year, he was playing harmonica and collecting blues albums. He would see blues shows in his early teens, including attending a Muddy Waters performance at his high school gymnasium. He would cut his teeth sitting in with John Henry Davis on Maxwell Street until he was old enough to sneak into blues clubs. He hung around great harp players such as Big Walter Horton, Little Mack Simmons, Louis Myers, Junior Wells, Big John Wrencher, and Carey Bell, and received harmonica tips and encouragement from many of them. He would regularly see the Aces, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Billy Boy Arnold, John Brim, Sunnyland Slim, Smokey Smothers, Eddie Taylor, and in many cases became personal friends with these blues veterans. -

Chicago Beau, il viaggiatore del Blues. interview by Gianni Franchi. You've toured constantly around the world , which was the reason you never stopped? The popularity of Blues goes in cycles. There has always been a kind of base audience that are true Blues Lovers, and fans of highly visible Blues artists like Buddy Guy, BB King, Koko Taylor and others who have been around for years. And those performers have often experienced periods with less work. So, a Blues artist must keep busy, and play wherever in the world, whenever. Unfortunately, Blues is the least promoted music. So, as Sonny Boy Williamson said, ‘You got to catch it while it’s hot, if you let it cool, I won’t be worth a damn!’ And so, I’ll only stop when too old to perform. Which is the country where you found yourself most at ease and why? Each country has something different to offer. I have a great appreciation for warm climates. I think that is naturally in my DNA. I like Quebec, and Canada in general because of the diversity. I had great experiences in Iceland, recording, and live performances. As you know I lived in Italy for five years primarily because of the beauty of Italian people, their rich cultural heritage, and their appreciation of Black Music and culture. You know the expression, ‘different reason, different season.’ Seasons can be, metaphorically, a person’s age. Where you are in your life. Things are always changing. And from the musical point of view which one did you think was the best? Italy, Quebec, Senegal, Iceland, Kenya. -

Awatef told Nooriya that Khawla refused the proposal as she considers her son as her brother. Khawla told Jaber that she got rid of Eisa as Ghanima refused this mar- riage to avoid family problems after she knew that both cousins wants to marry her. Ghanima calls Eisa to come to her room and lets him mas- Been Galbin (Between Two Hearts) she refuses, so he tells her he is getting married with a woman live in her husband’s house. She buys gifts for her husband sage her feet. She tells him that he has the same voice as his Yasmin misses her kids so she goes to visit them but the that he knows from the bank, and that their son Rashid will and kids and waits for them in the house.
