ESTATE, NEW DELHI-110002 SANCTION ORDER Sanction of the Competent Authority is conveyed for incurring an expenditure of Rs. 42,56,080/- (Rupees Forty Two Lakh Fifty Six Thousand Eighty Only) on account of "Scholarship/Merit Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Min Students” Class I to XII in r/o 2958 OBC/MIN students studying in Recognized Public Schools in Delhi for the year 2015-16 (List Enclosed). This sanction has been accorded in exercise of the powers delegated by the Finance Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi and in consultation with the accounts of the department. The expenditure involved on this account would be debitable to the Major Head “2225”-Welfare of SC/ST & Backward Classes, 01- Welfare of Scheduled Caste, 277- Education, 73 00 34 Scholarship/Merit Scholarship and SC/ST/OBC & Minority Students – Class I to XII under Demand No. 8 for the FY 2015-16 (Plan). We immediately sprang into action and partnered with organisations like Give India, Australian High Commission, Western Union, Zomato Feeding India for supporting these families financially and provision of dry ration and sanitization kits. So far we have provided financial support to more than 2100 families and ration supply to around 8600 families. We have supported families with Rs. 7000 in Tier-I cities and Rs. 5000 in Tier-II cities. We aim to reach out to another 5000 families. Your contribution can help us in sypporting these families.
