The visitors will finish a point above their opponents if they win; otherwise, they will end in fifth position. Previous meetings • Ventsislav Hristov's header three minutes from time earned Bulgaria a 2-1 victory in Azerbaijan on 9 September 2014. • The teams' only previous meeting had been a 0-0 friendly draw in Baku on 17 November 2004. In 2001 he lifted the Bulgarian Cup with Litex. • In 2009 he became player-coach of second division Lyubimets. • In 2010 he moved to Razgrad to start the Ludogorets project with club owner Kiril Domuschiev. In 2011 he guided the team to promotion to the Bulgarian top flight. • In 2012 the newcomers won a historic domestic double in their first top division campaign, then added the Bulgarian Super Cup. In 2013 Petev's Ludogorets retained the domestic title, but in the summer he was sacked after the first leg of their UEFA Champions League qualifying tie against ŠK Slovan Bratislava. • In October 2013 Petev took over Cypriot side AEL, steering them to second place that season. • In November 2014 he parted ways with AEL and a month later assumed the Bulgarian national team helm following the dismissal of Luboslav Penev. Standard de Liège, Portsmouth FC, NK Olimpija Ljubljana, NK Zagreb Coaching career: Croatia (assistant), FK Crvena zvezda, Kayserispor • Born in Germany, Prosinečki moved back to Croatia with his family in 1979, and developed as a midfielder with stunning technique at Dinamo Zagreb. • He moved on to Crvena zvezda and helped the Belgrade side to win the 1990/91 European Champion Clubs' Cup, scoring the opening penalty in their shoot-out success against Olympique de Marseille. • After a high-profile transfer, injuries hampered his time at Real Madrid, though he was to stay in Spain for some time, representing Oviedo, Barcelona and Sevilla before further adventures in Belgium, England and Slovenia.
