Her home-life leads her to the local library where she recites stories of acrobatic performers who long for a child. When Matilda starts school, she finds herself enrolled under the evil Headmistress Ms. Trunchbull. When Ms. Trunchbull’s backwards teaching tactics go too far, it’s up to Matilda to save the day. This unforgettable tale combines upbeat music with snappy choreography and a touch of dark humor. Matilda teaches audiences that “even if you’re little you can do a lot.” Most enjoyed by audiences age 3rd grade through adult.
