Enzo FERRARI
II. PARTE. ECCELLENZE MECCANICHE ITALIANE. LA FERRARI. – Enzo FERRARI. – Storia Passata Presente e Futura. – Uomini Ferrari. – Le Auto Ferrari. – I Piloti Ferrari. – Il Museo Ferrari. ENZO FERRARI.

Ferrari in Art – the Sporting Legacy

The cars, the drivers, the history and most importantly of all, the PASSION! These new series of artworks by Mark Dickens in collaboration with Keith Sutton encompasses all these lauded features. Comprising 25 paintings celebrating the first seventy years of Ferrari in a sporting context we have approached drivers, owners, fans, collectors, engineers and motorsport personalities asking them to express exclusively in their own handwritten words what the name Ferrari means to them providing a very real personal insight. Mark's paintings are mixed-media works, building layer upon layer of photographic transfers, hand-made paper, gold leaf, fabric, resin and paint. For each painting, drivers and motorsport personalities were asked to express in their own words what Ferrari means to them. The quotes were then incorporated by Mark into the painting, to provide a fascinating insight into what Ferrari means to them.
