Sedaris has written several national bestsellers, including Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, When You Are Engulfed in Flames, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk, and his newest book, Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls. He is also a frequent contributor to The New Yorker, and can be heard reading his original radio pieces on NPR’s This American Life. Recently, a film adaptation of Sedaris’ work, entitled C.O.G., premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January of 2013. Sedaris was named Time magazine’s “Humorist of the Year” in 2001 and has been nominated for three Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word and Best Comedy Album.
