FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LD ENTERTAINMENT GOES HUSH, HUSH December 6, 2012 -- On the heels of the publication of the final installment of Becca Fitzpatrick’s international best-selling series, THE HUSH, HUSH SAGA, LD Entertainment, the studio behind THE GREY and THE COLLECTION, has optioned the film rights to the four young adult novels. Patrick Sean Smith, creator of the acclaimed television series, "Greek," will adapt the screenplay with production expected to begin in the fall of 2013. First published in 2010 by Simon & Schuster, HUSH, HUSH was on The New York Times bestseller list for 36 weeks and has been sold in over 35 countries with over two million copies in print in the US. Fitzpatrick wrote three additional novels with the final installment of the series, FINALE, which went on-sale on October 23rd, 2012. HUSH, HUSH centers on sixteen-year-old Nora Grey whose life quickly changes when she meets Patch, a mysterious new bad boy in school. Her instincts tell her to stay away from him, but Nora can't help being drawn to his undeniable charm. As they get closer, Nora finds herself in dangerous inexplicable situations and begins to realize that Patch is actually a fallen angel with harmful intentions. If that’s all that opens Nov. 17, Aspen Moun- tain will still offer more vertical feet of skiing than many of the resorts now open in Colorado, according to Hanle. The top of the Bell Mountain chair is at an elevation of about 10,500 feet. The base is at about 7,945 feet. Hanle said the ticket price can’t be set because it’s uncertain how much terrain will open. Ski passes will be able to be used.

TWO NEW QUALIFIED PRODUCTION FACILITIES NOW AVAILABLE IN ONONDAGA COUNTY SYRACUSE, NY (July 27, 2020) - The Visit Syracuse Film Office, in conjunction with Onondaga County, Redhouse Arts Center and ASM Global, is proud to announce the addition of two new Qualified Production Facilities (QPF) within Onondaga County. Utilizing the existing spaces available within The Oncenter and Redhouse Arts Center, in addition to the existing QPF space available at The Greater Syracuse Soundstage, Central New York has dramatically increased existing space available for film production. Facilities are granted Qualified Production Status by the New York State Governor’s Office of Motion Picture and Television Development and film productions are required to utilize qualified facilities in order to receive the NYS Film Tax credit. The welcome addition of the Redhouse and The Oncenter increases the number of productions able to film in the area at one time, and also allows for greater social distancing and safety measures. The Redhouse and Oncenter will allow filming to resume in CNY in the safest, healthiest, cleanest way possible when we are able. Providing this type of environment, with new practices and guidelines in place, is paramount for the best interest of the community, crews and casts. The Visit Syracuse Film Office couldn’t be more excited to get back to work and utilize these new spaces, hopefully helping to supplement any lost business during this challenging and tragic time, all while giving the destination a new leg up in the entertainment industry. 2019 saw record numbers in terms of the local film industry, with seven productions taking place within Onondaga County, bringing close to $30 million in production budgets and leaving more than $20 million of that total within the community.
