This order, which was made upon the recommendation of the Southern Nevada Health District, applies to all employees of a Clark County business licensee, including each licensee of the Nevada Gaming Control Board. This order becomes effective at 12:00am on Thursday, July 22, 2021. “When the Board issued Industry Notice #2021-48 earlier this year, it did so knowing that the pandemic would be an evolving emergency for the foreseeable future, and that local jurisdictions would act in the best interests of their constituents.” said Chair J. Brin Gibson. “As a partner in the mitigation and management of the COVID-19 pandemic since its inception, the Board is fully supportive of the Southern Nevada Health District and the Clark County Commission in its mask mandate for employees in Clark County. The Board will ensure compliance with this requirement in Clark County within the Board’s areas of jurisdiction.” The Board reminds its licensees, gaming employees, and the general public that a licensee in violation of any federal, state, or local laws or regulations is a violation of Nevada Gaming Commission Regulation 5.011, and that the Board may seek disciplinary action by the Nevada Gaming Commission for any such violation. ### The Nevada Gaming Control Board governs Nevada's gaming industry through strict regulation of all persons, locations, practices, associations and related activities. The Board protects the integrity and stability of the industry through its investigative and licensing practices, and enforces laws and regulations, while holding gaming licensees to high standards. Through these practices, the Board is able to ensure the proper collection of taxes and fees that are an essential source of revenue for Nevada. .

Enough to cause some environmental headaches by JASON WHITED PROMINENT transportation and energy officials are hailing the proposed $400 million expansion of the pipeline that supplies Southern Nevada with gasoline and jet fuel as a necessary next step to meet long-term fuel needs. But a representative of the one state environmental group actually aware of the project warns that the construction could have unintended ecological consequences. Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, the mammoth, Houston-based firm that owns Southern Nevada's pipeline, plans to build a new, 16-inch diameter petroleum artery across 233 miles from Southern California, northeast through the Mojave Desert and into the Las Vegas Valley. By the time the new pipeline is ready in early 2011, more than 300,000 barrels a day could flow into the area, nearly doubling the capacity of the existing line. The only problem, says Lydia Ball of the Nevada chapter of the Sierra Club, is that the proposed expansion requires a new so-called right-of-way from the federal Bureau of Land Management. Since a right-of-way is a legal term for a strip of land, Ball says the new construction project could have serious environmental consequences once Kinder Morgan begins to lay the new pipe. Additional acreage could be damaged if the project hits a snag or if the pipeline itself ruptures. "Yes, obviously, if (pipeline supporters) are telling you one thing and the federal registry is telling you something else, then that's a problem," says Ball.

In his January State of the State address, the Governor announced his priorities for the 80th Legislative Session which included collective bargaining for state employees, providing pay raises for teachers, modernizing the State’s K-12 public schools funding formula, and raising the Renewable Portfolio Standard to 50% by 2030. Issues all passed by this legislature. While hearings started slowly because of the number of new legislators and the number of new committee chairs, the 80th Legislative Session ended on time. Before the session even began there were five legislative vacancies to fill, another two once session commenced, and Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson’s seat (D-Clark AD 17) remained vacant throughout the remainder of the session following his untimely passing in May. • Senator Dallas Harris (D-Clark SD 11) was appointed to fill the vacancy created by Aaron Ford’s mid- term election as Nevada Attorney General. • Senator Chris Brooks (D-Clark SD 3) was appointed to fill the vacancy created by Tick Segerblom’s mid- term election to the Clark County Commission. • Assemblywoman Rochelle Nguyen (D-Clark AD 10) was appointed to fill Assemblyman Chris Brooks’ seat following his appointment to the Senate. • Assemblywoman Bea Duran (D-Clark AD 11) was appointed to fill the vacancy created by Olivia Diaz’s resignation to run for Las Vegas City Council, a seat she won in the 2019 Municipal Election.

JANUARY 2012 LAS VEGAS CASINO AND HOTEL MARKET OUTLOOK 2012 Shannon Okada Associate Director www.hvs.com HVS Gaming Division 8170 W Sahara Avenue, Suite 201, Las Vegas, NV 89117 USA Las Vegas Casino and Hotel: Market Outlook 2012 Visitor volume is the single-largest determinant of Southern Nevada's economic health, driving hotel occupancy, average daily room rates, and gaming revenue. All experienced modest increases in 2011 and are expected to continue to improve in 2012. Las Vegas1 has continued its rebound that began in 2010. Gross gaming revenue for Clark County increased 3.3% in the year-to-date period through November 2011 compared to the same period in 2010. Room occupancy and average daily rates (ADR) were also up from the depressed levels of recent years. With increasing revenues, profit margins for casino-resorts are expected to benefit from the efficiencies implemented during the downturn. With the national and local economies recovering, and discretionary spending slowly rising, the outlook for the Las Vegas market in 2012 is positive, followed by stronger results in 2013. VISITATION Visitor volume is the single-largest determinant of Las Vegas' economic health. Visitors drive hotel occupancy, average daily room rates, and gaming revenue. Overall, 2011 was good for Las Vegas tourism. In 2010, visitor volume grew for the first time since 2007. Year-to-date data through November 2011 indicate that annual visitor volume also grew year-over-year. Year-to-date through November 2011, 36.0 million people visited Las Vegas, up 4.4% from the 34.5 million recorded during the same period in 2010.

September 17, 2020 CLARK COUNTY DISTRICT G NEWSLETTER Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson Hello District G Residents, Today, along with community partners and Clark County Parks and Recreation, I was able to dedicate a new restroom facility and streetscape improvements at Pebble Park located at 8975 Topaz Street. Originally constructed in 2007, the new improvements at Pebble Park include a new public restroom and perimeter landscaping of trees and shrubs along Pebble Road and Eastern Ave. Pebble Park is popular with both neighborhood residents and sports leagues alike. The park has a trail, picnic areas, a playground, a water play feature and a very large green area used by several sports leagues as practice space. The addition of a restroom facility will greatly improve the overall experience for park users. The restroom and landscaping improvements will further incorporate this park into the adjacent neighborhood. Those wanting more information about Pebble Park can call the Clark County Parks and Recreation Department at (702) 455-8200 or visit www.ClarkCountyNV.gov/parks. Clark County Parks and Recreation can also be found on social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to visit and tour one of the small businesses that applied for and received one of Clark County's Small Business Grants this past Summer. With the needs of small businesses in mind, Clark County has opened applications for a second round of grants including the Clark County Small Business Stabilization Grant and Clark County Small Business Protective Retrofit Grant. I strongly encourage small businesses in District G and all of unincorporated Clark County to apply for these grants so Clark County can assist your business during these difficult times.
