RESUME LIPSON P P Paleli (House) ManickamangalamP O Ernakulam, Kerala 683574 Phone: 09744468614 Email:[email protected] RESUME SUMMARY Currently I work as the manager of the National Urban Livelihood mission at Angamaly municipality.Keral State Kudumbashree Mission is the nodal agency of NULM which ensures the effective implementation in the state. As the manager, I coordinate and manage all livelihood activities for the urban poor. Neighborhood Help group formation(NHG), Bank linkage of NHG, Formation of Micro enterprises, Rehabilitation of Street vendors and Skill training and placement are the activities undertake in NULM. My last organization was in Marian College Kuttikkanam, an aided college affiliated to MG University Kottayam as the coordinator of the Department of Extension Services. The department work for the strengthening of panchayat leadership through the Campus- Community partnership programs. I have worked for the Kerala State Kudumbashree Mission in Idukki District as the District Resource Person Coordinator of the Gender self-learning programme. I was a team member of three action researches for Panchayat Raj strengthening as well as good governance at Grammeena Padana Kendram Karakulam(GPK).I am also experienced in social auditing and gender safety auditing EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION MSW, specialized in Urban and Rural Community development from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady B.A Economics, from Sree Sankara College Kalady affiliated to MG University Kottayam Dissertation “A study on Social Audit in National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.” This study was conducted at Akathethara Grama Panchayath, Palakkad. Work for Kalady Grama Panchayat as Member of Panchayat Level Planning Committee.(a volunteer work) Worked as the Coordinator of the department of Extension Services at Marian College Kuttikkanam since February 2011(2 years, 9 months) the department working with nearby panchayats and jointly conducted several capacity development training programs for the panchayat leaders. And also implemented a project for the improvement of the school education in Peruvanthanam panchayat. The department has organized Gender safety audit at Kumali and Peermadu. In Vandiperiyar panchayat the department organized value education programs for the school children Worked as the District Coordinator of Gender Self Learning Programme, Kerala State Kudumbashree Mission in Idukki from October 2009 to January 2011(1 year, 5 months) during the period I have conducted 50 more gender self-learning training programs in the district. And also formed a District resource person pool. I was a member of the team which published two Gender Self Learning materials Sthriyum Thozhilum and Thozhilum Arogyavum Worked as the Project Coordinator of local self governance strengthening programs at Grameena Patana Kendram Karakulam,(GPK) Trivandrum from April 2005 to May 2007(2 years). I was a member of the project team which published manuals for transferred institutions of the village panchayat. EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES College Union Chairman at Sree Sankara College Kalady, in the year of 2003-04 University Union Councilor in the period of 2001-02 Joint Convener of University union festivals.
