It is the premier event for scientists and practitioners involved in behavioral research, and focusses on methods, techniques, and tools in human and animal behavioral research. As well as the usual focus on animal and human behavior research methods, in recent years we have also introduced some new themes, including robotics (bio-inspired robots and human-robot interactions), IAAP DIVISION 15 – ACTIVITIES IN EUROPE sport (biomechanics and human movement), and open science. Measuring Behavior is the premier interdisciplinary event for scientists and practitioners concerned with the study of human or animal behavior. This unique conference focuses on methods, techniques, and tools in behavioral research in the widest sense. While most conferences focus on a specific scientific area, this conference tries to create bridges between disciplines by bringing together people who may otherwise be unlikely to meet each other. This time they will enrich the formula of this event by offering not only plenary speeches, but also masterclasses, supervision and small working groups. From their previous experience, they consider that the integration is most successful when it happens on an interpersonal level. Thus, they aim to bring together people with various backgrounds, areas and levels of experience in order to enable constructive dialogue. As usual they invited speakers passionate about psychotherapy and its integration, interested in making the psychological treatment as effective as possible by including latest developments in psychotherapy theory and technique as well as scientific achievements. IAAP DIVISION 15 – ACTIVITIES IN EUROPE ICCP 2020: 10th International Congress of Cognitive Psychotherapy DATE & PLACE: June 18 – 21, 2020. Rome, Italy. HOW TO ENROLL: You have to register yourself at the following link: https://www.iccp2020.com/registration-information/ Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) is an umbrella term for a large number of evidence-based psychological treatments and it is the gold standard in the field of psychotherapy. This Congress aims to: (1) report about CBT state of the art applications in a large variety of clinical and non-clinical contexts; (2) introduce the latest research with powerful clinical implications in this field; (3) increase CBT internal cohesion by moving the various “schools” of this field towards an integrated and multimodal approach; (4) promote CBT as the best platform to integrate psychotherapy in an evidence-based framework; (5) stimulate CBT frontier research as well as infuse CBT with frontier research from related fields. INFORMATION: The International Neuropsychological Society (INS) and the Association for Neuropsychology Austria (GNPÖ) are proud to announce their joint congress in Vienna, Austria on July 1st, 2020 through July 3rd, 2020. The conference will bring together neuropsychologists from different continents who are involved in applied and scientific investigations. Keeping with a lifespan approach, we invited speakers whose research probes the brain health and cognitive functions of children and adults. The conference will provide an overview of cutting-edge scientific investigations as well as their clinical applications. Neuropsychologists from around the globe are invited to teach each other, to learn from each other and to have fun! Our congress theme, “The Neuropsychology of Pleasure, Dreaming and Memories” highlights the neuroscience of gender differences, emotions, and dreams. We are delighted to welcome you to the 2020 INS Meeting & GNPÖ Vienna Meeting. This is the first time that the Association for Neuropsychology Austria (GNPÖ) and the International Neuropsychological Society (INS) will co-host a meeting. GNPÖ is a non-profit organization with a mission to increase awareness of neuropsychology and to strengthen the professional guild through national and international collaborations. As a founding member of the Federation of the European Societies of Neuropsychology (FESN), GNPÖ has a long history of collaborations with other European organizations. GNPÖ initiatives focus on improving the neuropsychology through quality management and educational efforts including the development of standards for clinical neuropsychology. GNPÖ has a 22-year history of building neuropsychology in Austria and Europe. The 2020 INS Meeting & GNPÖ Vienna Meeting will extend the reach of GNPÖ to neuropsychologists around the world. After a long history, the first ICP Congress was held in Paris in 1889, the ICP has become one of the largest international psychological events. The main organizer of the 32nd ICP is the Czech and Moravian Psychological Society (ČMPS), strongly supported by the Union of Psychological Associations of the Czech Republic (UPA ČR) and under the auspices of the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS). The 32nd ICP will take place in the wonderful city of Prague, the heart of Europe and the capital of the Czech Republic.
