Among them eight species belong to the Dictyotales and two to the Fucales. Consequently, the seaweed community of Chaojing is considered as typical of subtropical one, while it has also several temperate species together. Spatoglossum asperum, Ralfsia verrucosa, Feldmannia irregularis and Scytosiphon gracilis are new records for Taiwan.
