A group of people with direct links to the village of Pinilla de Fermoselle decided to put aside the lamentations for the catastrophe suffered and take action. In February 2018 we made a symbolic plantation of 10 holm oaks. This act was disclosed to friends and family who expressed their intention to collaborate with the cause and suggested we organize some kind of collection to expand the project and recover in this way part of what was lost in the fire. In May 2018 we created the website www.plantaunquercus.com and founded the Environmental Association Plant a Quercus in order to obtain funds to help us repopulate these lands with autochthonous species. www.plantaunquercus.com Information Dossier - Plant a Quercus Association-EN.docx Page 3 / 10 Objectives Our objectives are stated in the statutes of the association and are summarized in: Reforestation with native species of the Arribes del Duero. We plant holm oaks, cork oaks, junipers and strawberry trees, trees that have null or doubtful economic profitability for our generation and possibly the next one but that are essential in the habitat of the Natural Park of the Arribes del Duero. Promote the care of the environment through workshops aimed mainly at children since they will be "our future guardians of the forests". Promote the recycling of waste in the area, getting in touch with public administrations to provide the necessary means to carry it out and making the habitants of the area aware of the need and the benefits of doing so. www.plantaunquercus.com Information Dossier - Plant a Quercus Association-EN.docx Page 4 / 10 Our work All the activity of Plant a Quercus is being carried out for the moment within the area of Pinilla de Fermoselle (Zamora) planting of native trees, holm oaks (Quercus Ilex), cork oaks (Quercus Suber), strawberry trees (Arbutus Unedo) and soon junipers (Juniperus Oxycedrus), as well as environmental workshops for children, although for the latter we have received invitations from various villages in the county to organize them and we are currently working on it. For the tasks of planting, take care and sponsorship of trees we follow a simple cyclical process: To prepare the To find land and plant sponsors the trees To label, photograph To take care of and geo little trees location of each tree All the tasks are documented on the website of the association www.plantaunquercus.com. In addition, we periodically send through social networks (Whatsapp distribution lists, e-mailing and Facebook) information about our activity and relevant news to people and entities that have supported us. www.plantaunquercus.com Information Dossier - Plant a Quercus Association-EN.docx Page 5 / 10 Resources HUMAN RESOURCES In addition to the founding members of the association, to carry out our work fortunately we are receiving the support of many people willing to collaborate selflessly with: Direct help planting trees. Spreading of our work among your social networks. Free use of land for plantings. Photograph and video edition. Cession of municipal spaces to carry out workshops with children.
ABSTRACT Just a day later, the province of Zamora joined the military national rebelion that happened on 18th july 1936, because the military officials knew about the existence of the coup since spring and, as a result, they supported it. Zamora became one of the sym- bols of the Spain of Franco. Quickly he built that new Spain, first from Burgos and then from Salamanca, by controlling and oppressing every aspect of life. The changes in education, the Falangist control, the Army, the Guardia Civil (spa- nish police) and the clerical orientation from their churchies and offices, together with a lack of information as well as the poor means of communication, designed a kind of behaviour, the moral and thoughts of the people of Zamora, specially made up of far- mers and workers.

SUMMARY.— On the basis of the inventories of the area itself, the tree and bush communities of the central western part of the province of Zamora are described. Af ter placing the territory, a general report is made on the measurable factors conditio ning the existence of the biocoenoses. Floristic, ecological, corological and physiogno mic data of the different associations are also described and new syntaxons are intro duced into the science.

July 25, 2011 First Solar Sells 10MW Solar Power Plant near Zamora, Spain to KGAL Project Under Construction by Gehrlicher Solar España is Scheduled for December Completion MADRID--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) and KGAL GmbH & Co. KG (KGAL) on Thursday announced the purchase of a 9.9 megawatt (MW) (DC) solar power plant near Zamora, Spain by European Solar Power Fund — a renewable energy-focused fund for institutional investors managed by KGAL — from First Solar. Currently under construction by Gehrlicher Solar España with an expected completion in December, the 37.6 hectare solar farm will produce an estimated 15,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of clean, green electricity a year — equivalent to the annual needs of around 3,400 Spanish households and CO2 savings of approximately 5,600 metric tons/year. "We are very glad about the successful acquisition of this exceptional solar farm in Spain and the opportunity to collaborate with highly professional partners like First Solar and Gehrlicher," said Dr. Klaus Wolf, managing director of KGAL. "The total capacity of solar farms owned and operated by KGAL's investment funds now exceeds 200 MW." The solar farm is located in Pereruela in the province of Zamora, Spain, about 250 kilometers northwest of Madrid. The Zamora area is one of the sunniest in Europe, with around 1,700 kWh/m2 of sunlight a year. Guillermo Barea Herranz, CEO of Gehrlicher Solar España, said: "We are happy about the successful realization of this project together with our business partners. Based on our long-term experience and the high potential of the Spanish PV market, we look forward to installing many more PV systems in this region as well as in the rest of the world." As with other large, ground-mounted solar farms such as the 53MW Lieberose solar farm in Germany and 26.3MW Badajoz solar farm in Spain, First Solar helped to organize third-party financing in addition to supplying solar modules—in this case some 122,000 FS Series 3 thin-film solar modules.

Zamorano cheese is a hard variety with protected designation of origin (PDO) produced in the province of Zamora (Spain) with raw or pasteurized ewe’s milk. Five batches of Zamorano cheese were produced with pasteurized ewe’s milk. One batch was elaborated using milk from the Churra breed, the other using milk from the Assaf breed, and the remaining three employed milk mixtures of Churra and Assaf breeds in the proportions 75:25, 50:50 and, 25:75, respectively. Cheeses made with a higher proportion of Churra milk showed a predominance of hydrophilic peptides, while hydrophobic peptides predominated in cheeses with a greater percentage of milk from the Assaf breed. The largest content of most free amino acids was found in cheeses produced with the highest percentage of Churra milk. These cheeses presented the highest values for fat acidity index and free fatty acids content and showed greater elasticity and adhesiveness, as well as lower granularity and Citation: Fernández, D.; hardness.
