TEXAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY 2007-08 Athletics History -The Rams have produced 66 All-America selections and nine individuals have won medalists honors at the NAIA National Championship. Baseball: The baseball team won its first Red River Championship in 2007 and advanced to the Region VI final. The program has amassed over 1,000 victories in its 36-year history and has had 36 players drafted in the major leagues. Former Ram Jeff Moronko also saw time in the majors with the Cleveland Indians. -The Rams’ 41 wins were the most since 1980 while their 10 losses were the fewest since 1973. They have won 30 or more in four of the last five seasons under the guidance of Softball head coach Mike Jeffcoat, a former major league pitcher with Rachel Hampton holds Texas the Texas Rangers.
