The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating consists of seven events. Riga is followed by the events in Mexico City (September 4 to 8), Kosice, Slovakia (September 11 to 15), Gdansk, Poland (September 18 to 22), Minsk, Belarus (September 25 to 29), Ostrava, Czech Republic (October 2 to 6) and Tallinn, Estonia (October 9 to 13). The events in Riga, Kosice, Minsk, Ostrava and Tallinn include Pair Skating. The top six skaters/couples of the series in each category will advance to the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in Fukuoka, Japan (December 5 to 8).
