The „Festival‟ is named after the State animal, Sangai, the brow-antlered deer found only in Manipur. Etawah Lion Safari in Uttar Pradesh opened for public The Uttar Pradesh based Etawah Lion Safari, which was formerly known as Etawah Safari Park and officially as Lion Breeding Center and Multiple Safari Park, Etawah has been opened for public without the lion segment. The Etawah lion safari is the first in India to have a lion breeding centre set up with an aim to develop a research facility on Asiatic lions. Centre Extended Ban on Assam based Bodo Insurgents Group for 5 years The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has issued orders to extend the ban on Assam-based Bodo insurgent group National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) by another five years, since the terrorist outfit had continued to indulge in illegal and violent activities which disrupts the sovereignty and territorial integrity of India. The ban on NDBF has been extended under the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. 8th International Tourism Mart Organised at Imphal, Manipur The 8th International Tourism Mart has been organised at Imphal, Manipur. AIIA signs MoU with Western Sydney University For Integration Of Ayurveda, Modern Medicine The New Delhi based All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Western Sydney University, Australia. The MoU will promote collaboration in research and help in developing guidelines for integrating Ayurveda principles with modern medicine. Indian Army conduct ‘Epic Run 2019’ in West Bengal Indian Army conducted the „Epic Run 2019‟ at Pedong, West Bengal on November 23, 2019 in recognition and respect for the soldiers and their Next of Kin (NOK). Assam govt to start Arundhati gold scheme by January 2020 The Assam government will start Arundhati gold scheme by January next year for the registered newly married couples. Under the scheme, an amount of 30 thousand rupees will be given to the bride to purchase gold. Plastic carry bags, plastic sheets, cooling films, plastic plates, cups, thermocol and Styrofoam- based items and others will be covered under the ban. Madhya Pradesh govt to give 5% reservation to sportspersons in jobs Madhya Pradesh government has announced 5% reservation to national and international medallists sportspersons in state government jobs. Ocean Dance Festival 2019 started in Cox Bazar The Ocean Dance Festival 2019 kicked off in Cox Bazar of Bangladesh. Currently, the minimum ticket size for investing in PMS is Rs 25 lakh. The market regulator also increased the net worth requirement for PMS to Rs 5 crore from Rs 2 crore earlier, giving the existing portfolio managers 36 months to meet the enhanced requirement. The regulator has set a deadline of 31 days for listed companies to disclose to the stock exchanges with respect to default. Ashok Leyland Ltd, ICICI Bank ink MoU for vehicle financing Commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland Ltd. (ALL) has entered into a two• year memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ICICI Bank to offer customised financial solutions to customers across India with a focus on semi•urban and rural geographies. The bank will work in close coordination with the authorised dealers of Ashok Leyland to provide financial solutions to the customers. SEBI slapped Rs 40.5 lakh fine on 7 firms for fraudulent trading Markets regulator SEBI imposed a total fine of Rs 40.5 lakh on 7 companies for indulging in fraudulent trading in the illiquid stock options segment on the BSE. The total fine levied on the firms, Rs 10.5 lakh was levied on Green Venture Securities Management Pvt Ltd while Morgan Financial Services, Niranjan Housing, NavrangTradelinks, Niranjan Metallic, Nishu Leasing and Finance and Midpoint Tradelink faced a fine of Rs 5 lakh each.
