Australian actor and star of The Mentalist Simon Baker visited Denmark on Friday 10 July for the announcement of the project. The production of Breath is supported by $1.5 million in State Government Royalties for Regions funding administered through the GSDC and $800,000 through ScreenWest. Mr Baker will star in and direct the film, and said he was familiar with the book. A location-scouting tour of the South West included a visit to Denmark, and Mr Baker said he and Australian producer Jamie Hilton immediately felt it was the right place to make the film. Culture and Arts Minister John Day (left), actor and director Simon Baker (centre) and Regional Development Minister Terry Redman celebrate “It was just the feel of the place and the the announcement of the Great Southern sense of community environment that rung production of the feature film Breath. out and felt special,” Mr Baker said. “We knew right there. The Events Committee wants to let Claremonters know that they have decided not to sponsor a New Year's Eve Dinner Dance on December 31, 2019. They do hope to hold a dinner dance again in 2020, but felt the event needs a year's break since attendance was lower than anticipated on NYE 2018 - a low of 68 attendees. Also, if anyone knows what happened to the twinkling lights that were part of the table decor on NYE, please notify Linda Tracy, NYE Chair.

The right of Alan Gordon Smith to be identified as Author of this work has been asserted by him in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. 4 5 Acknowledgements I am extremely grateful to have been in receipt of the valuable support, creative inspiration and patience of my principal supervisor Rob Edgar throughout my period of study. This has been aided by Jo Waugh’s meticulous attention to detail and vast knowledge of nineteenth-century literature and the early assistance of big Zimmerman fan JT. I am grateful to the NHS for still being on this planet, long may its existence also continue. Much thought and thanks must also go to my late, great Mother, who in the early stages of my life pushed me onwards, initially arguing with the education department of Birmingham City Council when they said that I was not promising enough to do ‘O’ levels. Tim Moore, stepson and good friend must also be thanked for his digital wizardry. Finally, I am immensely grateful to my wife Joyce for her valued help in checking all my final drafts and the manner in which she has encouraged me along the years of my research; standing right beside me as she has always done when I have faced other challenging issues.

The West Wing Weekly 5.04: “Han” Guest: Paula Yoo [Frédéric Chopin – Prelude in E-minor (Op.28, No.4) excerpt] HRISHI: Here we go. JOSH: Hi guys. Wipe away those tears and listen to The West Wing Weekly. There's hope, there's always hope. [laughter] I'm Joshua Malina. HRISHI: And I’m Hrishikesh Hirway. JOSH: For those of you wondering, I was playing left hand, [Hrishi laughs] and Hrishi was playing right hand. HRISHI: Today, we're talking about “Han.” It's episode 4 of season 5 of The West Wing. JOSH: This episode was written by Peter Noah. Peter Noah would later go on to many things, including being a consulting producer on, I believe, 40 episodes of Scandal. He's a great writer, and story credit for this episode goes to Peter Noah and Mark Goffman. That's Peter Noah & Mark Goffman and, A-N-D, Paula Yoo. The direction is by the always-magnificent Christopher Misiano. The episode first aired on October 22nd, 2003. HRISHI: In this episode, a North Korean pianist comes to the White House for a performance, but things get complicated when he tells the president he wants to defect. C.J.'s for it, but everyone else is pretty much against it, and the president has to weigh both arguments. Meanwhile, Will is having a hard time writing an inspiring speech about the nomination and confirmation of vice president-to-be Bob Russell. Josh is battling one congressman who plans to be a holdout vote against the nomination. Toby wants to get away from speechwriting, but every time he thinks he's out, they keep pulling him back in.
