  • Motorsports Park Vision
Motorsports Park Vision Imagine a racetrack like no other, with the ow of a classic Grand Prix circuit and benets of modern technology. Designed and built with intention, taking advantage of natural elevation changes, and featuring a variety of corners to tempt, test and challenge. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery in Canada’s warmest climate - the motorsport equivalent of Pebble Beach. Location Endless blue skies and a warm desert climate combine to make the South Okanagan Valley the ideal location for Area 27. Home to one of the world’s premier wine tourism regions, the South Okanagan features lakes, beaches and mountains perfectly suited to outdoor sports and recreation. After a day spent enjoying Canada’s outdoor playground, guests are welcomed by numerous resort hotels and ne dining establishments. Hidden in the hills overlooking the valley, Area 27’s two hundred twenty seven acre site provides a hint towards the names origin. The site could be seen from space but not from public vantage points, much like a certain secret base in Nevada. The number 27 was chosen as a tribute to Canadian racing legend Gilles Villeneuve, who claimed the number as his own driving for Ferrari. The Circuit The Area 27 Circuit has the unique distinction of being envisioned, designed, engineered, and constructed by professional racecar drivers. Designed to take advantage of the natural terrain, Area 27’s sixteen turns ow through elevation changes like a favorite country road. Straightaways are long enough to generate speed and to allow the driver time to assimilate the previous corner’s challenge. Great corners are dened by what comes before and what happens after them - Area 27 was built with this in mind.

Contact: Adam Saal Matthew Simmons Bill Klingbeil SRT Motorsports - Nationwide Race Recap - Road America Trouble-free Day Gives Hornish Fifth Place Finish at Road America Villeneuve Leads Early, Ends Up Sixth at America’s ‘National Park of Speed’ June 22, 2012, Elkhart Lake, Wisc. - Sam Hornish Jr. stayed out of trouble and kept all four wheels on the road – literally – to score a fifth-place finish in the Sargento 200 at Road America Saturday afternoon. Hornish grabbed his third top five of the season and chopped 11 points off Elliott Sadler’s lead in the Nationwide Series championship standings. He now trails Sadler by 34 points entering next week’s event at Kentucky Speedway. Hornish led once in the race for three laps. The driver of the No. 12 Alliance Truck Parts Dodge said he had a simple strategy entering the weekend’s event at the 4.048-mile road course, a track known for chaotic racing. “We were just trying to be smart,” Hornish said. “My goal for the weekend was to make sure that we weren’t sitting in any sand traps. I’m really happy about that and to be able to pass some really good road racers there towards the end, I feel like it was pretty good. There were some guys running into each other on the last lap and I did everything I could do to try to stay out of that.” The strategy worked, despite the fact Hornish was involved in a rambunctious five-car battle for fourth-place in the closing laps featuring Max Papis, Danica Patrick, Brian Scott and his Penske Racing teammate for the weekend, Jacques Villeneuve.

Barbabas is angerly happier after soulless Rajeev dighted his tailpieces straight. However, those two incidents are quite similar and were judged similarly. Vettel try to get back past Hamilton would have been fantastic. Hamilton was booed after the podium ceremony but Vettel immediately defended the British driver. This means that every time you visit this website you will need to enable or disable cookies again. And who will make the top four? Kimi Raikkonen as he rejoined the racing line. Do you then penalise Sebastian for rejoining the track in a dangerous manner? He won the Japanese Grand Prix from pole position, leading every lap. What does it do? Masi says the FIA has relaxed its approach to some areas of the regulations. It endeared him to the crowd, most of whom were Ferrari fans in Canada, and were disappointed the penalty had decided the outcome of the race. Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. No idea what happened there? Hulkenberg is the only one soft but the strategy seems to be working for him. Catholic secondary school in Stevenage. Yet that’s exactly what happened. With his simple request, the late, great Meyer – Indy’s first three-time winner – established a tradition that has become an endearing part of Indianapolis lore. For nearly 80 years – 58 of which have been consecutive – winners of the Indianapolis 500 have celebrated in Victory Lane (now Victory Circle) with a hearty swig from an ice-cold bottle of milk – a ceremony recognized around the world as unique to Indy. In an interview shortly before his death in 1995, Meyer recalled that his favorite beverage during his driving days was buttermilk – and that’s what he asked for following the second of his three wins. Three years later, on the occasion of his third 500-Mile Race victory, he was photographed drinking milk in Victory Lane. Milk was presented off and on during the next several years until, in 1956, the Bottle of Milk was made a permanent part of the post-race celebration by Indianapolis Motor Speedway owner Anton “Tony” Hulman. 2013 marks the 58th consecutive year for this beloved tradition, and 77 years since the photo of Meyer and his beloved buttermilk was snapped in Victory Lane.
