No one sets out to become an addict, but all addicts need our help, no matter how they got to where they are. These addicts are not faceless strangers but frequently people that we know. This WCTE documentary will highlight the problems that many addicts face, like the lack of treatment opportunities which often leads to incarceration. Socio-economic and geographi- cal factors also play into their ability to find help. We investigate possible solutions that are currently being developed to address these issues and looks at what we can do as a society to address the problem both logically and compassionately.
