An extension of Hampton University's nearly 140-year renowned legacy of excellence, the Hampton University College of Virginia Beach is a contemporary learning environment that offers relevant, in-demand academic programs. * This year the university entered into a partnership with FOHTA that provided access to our facility for meetings and served as the headquarters camp location in Town Center, Virginia Beach.

The company specializes in Teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Funk, Hip Hop, Zumba Fitness, Beyond Barre Fitness, Bayfront Boot Camp, Yoga, Piloxing, and MixxedFit. A team of instructors volunteered their services Flash Mob Performance at Graduation so FOHTA was able to integrate performing art into the camp curriculum. Dance classes were offered for the first time at the HU site with great success. Students interacted with instructors, learned about the value of health and creative expression through movement. Students practiced diligently and performed an

This Learning about Fingerprinting program is led by Vanessa Torres who also joined the FOHTA partnership family this year. She introduced the students to several law enforcement concepts and exposed them to the many fields of study associated with working in the FBI ranging from investigation to public relations. The partnership included agents coming onsite to present experiments in forensics and culminated with a field trip to the FBI offices in Chesapeake.
