9 September 2018 G-1 One Day Tournament G-1 One Day 09, Sep 2018 G-1 One Day Tournament - Baroda 1 vs Gujarat 1 and Saurashtra 2 vs Gujarat 2 9th September 2018 G-1 One Day Tournament G-1 One Day tournament for seniors teams of Saurashtra, Gujarat and Baroda is jointly organised by Saurashtra Cricket Association, Gujarat Cricket Association and Baroda Cricket Association. Two teams of each Association participate in the tournament. Match 01 Baroda 1 vs Gujarat 1 G-1 One Day Tournament’s match between Baroda 1 vs Gujarat 1 played at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Gujarat 1 won the toss and elected to bat first. Gujarat 1 scored 211 runs for loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs. Kathan Patel scored 69 runs with 8 fours. Tejas Patel made 32 runs. Urvil Patel scored 26 runs. Rahul Shah made 25. Ninad Rathava took 3 wickets in 10 overs with 2 maidens and giving away 27 runs. Bhargav Bhatt claimed 2 wickets. Baba Pathan and Rishi Arothe took 1 each. Match was interrupted by rains. Hence revised target for Baroda 1 was set at 183 runs to score in 46 overs. Chasing 183 runs to win, Baroda 1 scored it for loss of 3 wickets in 35.4 overs. Kedar Devdhar scored 103 runs not out in 106 balls with 13 fours. Aditya Vaghmore scored 70 with 9 fours. Abhinav Tandel and Dharam Chandora took 1 wicket each. Baroda 1 won the match by 7 wickets and got 4 points Match 02 Saurashtra 2 vs Gujarat 2 G-1 One Day Tournament’s match between Gujarat 2 vs Saurashtra 2 played at Motibaug Cricket Ground, Vadodara. Gujarat 2 won the toss and elected to field. Saurashtra 2 scored 90 runs all out in 35.5 overs. Harvik Desai scored 20 runs. Kunal Karamchandani scored 20. Aezaz Kotharia made 11. Arzan Nagwaswalla took 4 wickets in 6.5 overs with 1 maiden and giving away 14 runs. Jaimin P took 3 wickets in 8 overs giving away 28 runs. Rush Kaleria, Chintan Gaja and karan Patel took 1 wicket each. Chasing 91 runs to win, Gujarat 2 scored 92 runs for loss of 4 wickets in27 overs. Uttirrikie is a sound made by golfers on the course when someone swings and misses the ball. As the name suggests, players were not allowed to take any practice swings and had to just walk to the ball and quickly chip it and get it as close to the hole as possible.
