This event serves as the grand finale of the 6th annual Missoula Craft First Security Bank Beer Week featuring over 70 draft beers, as well as a wine and hard cider bar. Vice President: Marketing & Events Brooke Redpath METTLE Strategic Marketing Solutions This event is open and free for all in the community to enjoy. Those looking to sample beer Vice President: Master Plan must purchase a 7-ounce commemorative glass, wristband, and three beer tokens for Ellen Buchanan $15. Additional beer tokens are two for $3. For $20, folks can buy a glass and seven Missoula Redevelopment Agency tokens. Those enjoying the brews are encourage to find safe rides home via designated Vice President: Membership drivers, a taxi, Uber, or Mountain Line busses. Designated Drivers receive free water and Lynda Brown soda for the duration of the event. White wristbands are available at each entrance for Brown HR Consulting D.Ds. Treasurer Ben Wright Montana CDC The event will also feature many of Missoula’s favorite musicians and bands. Rotgut Past President Whines kicks off the event from 12-2 pm followed by Letter B from 2:30-5 pm. The Dodgy Aimee McQuilkin Mountain Men will wrap up the event from 5:30-8 pm. The beer selection will be Betty’s Divine complemented by a lineup of some favorite local food vendors, including Clove Cart Pizza, Covered Wagon Hot Dogs, Dobi’s Teriyaki, El Cazador, Bitterroot Bison, and What’s Trent Baker Datsopoulos, MacDonald & Lind a Viking. Larry Brehm Brehm Architecture All of the beers at BrewFest will be judged by the Zoo City Zymurgists - Missoula’s local Dan Cederberg home brew club. The Zymurgists will select winners in a variety of categories, from which Cederberg Law they pick a “best in show” beer. Patterned after the alcohol beverage distribution system in Alberta, Canada, the Board was charged with the responsibility of purchasing, pricing and vending liquor in the state. By the first quarter of 1935, 115 state-owned retail stores were in operation. In 1937, liquor-by-the-drink became legal. In the mid-1960s, emphasis on customer services brought self-service stores to the state. In 1973, the state legislature abolished the Liquor Control Board and transferred its responsibilities to the Department of Revenue, Liquor Control Division. In 1995, the state legislature directed the department to convert all remaining state liquor stores to agent owned liquor stores. All agency liquor stores now own their own liquor inventories that they continue to purchase through the state warehouse, but are permitted to set their own retail prices as long as it is at or above the minimum state established prices. All alcoholic beverage license holders purchase liquor through the agency liquor stores at a cost no greater than the state’s established price.
