His first collection of Tamil short fiction "Maariligal" won the 2016 Singapore Literature Prize for Tamil fiction, and his first collection of Tamil poetry won the 2016 Singapore Literature Prize Merit Award for Tamil poetry. His short fiction collection "Maariligal" also won the 2017 Karikaar Chozan prize for international Tamil fiction. Since then, he had published 2 Tamil novels, "Bernoulli's Ghosts" and "Kauntilya's Call No.: Tamil SING SIT Call No.: Tamil SING S894.811172 SIT Square" for the Young Adults. A winner of the Cha magazine prize for English poetry, Sithuraj Ponraj will have two works "Derrida and The Advertisement Length Death" and a collection of short stories published in October 2017. His first Spanish poetry collection "The Crocodiles No Longer Pass Here" and Tamil translations of English poems will be published in September 2017.
