FC BARCELONA Futbol Club Barcelona also known as FC Barcelona and familiarly as Barça, is a professional football club, based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Founded in 1899 by a group of Swiss, English and Catalan footballers led by Joan Gamper, the club has become a symbol of Catalan culture and Catalanism, hence the motto "Més que un club" (More than a club). It is the world's second-richest football club in terms of revenue, with an annual turnover of €398 million (2011). The unique feature of the club is that unlike many other football clubs, the supporters own and operate Barcelona. Jack Greenwell was the first fulltime club manager from 1917 to 1924 under which club grabbed 6 tournament honors. -

F.C.Barcelona Campus Summer 2015 Programme
“I was able to see the training centre, to attend the “ceremony” of the end of the week, and also to visit the residence and their room. And I am glad I did, as I could see that the organization is very good and that they are in a good environment. Thank you again for your help, and all my thanks as well to Felipe” Luc & Isidore’s grandfather (13 & 11 year old, La Martinique , France) F.C.Barcelona Campus Summer 2015 Programme Driven by the passion that football and basketball arouse among children and by the benefits generated by sport, F.C. Barcelona and Sport Magazine have come together to create an official F.C. Barcelona Campus. Aston has also joined forces to accommodate all foreign participants. This will be the tenth edition. All previous editions have been very successful, both in number of attendants as in organization. This Campus has always achieved its aim of giving 800 kids loads of enjoyment practicing their favourite sport. All places were sold out a month prior to its start. Both children and parents have been satisfied with the organization and most of them show us their willingness to repeat the experience. We are pleased to announce that in the 2015 edition of the F.C. Barcelona Campus, ASTON will welcome and take care of: accommodation, breakfast & dinner, night activities, excursions, return airport transfers, daily supervised transportation to the camp and back to the residence from Monday to Friday, and welfare for all our international participants. This is also a great opportunity for foreign boys & girls to mix with native Spanish speakers (full immersion, 70% Spanish attendees); and getting to know Barcelona and surroundings in the evenings and over the weekends in a great and safe environment. -
Ligue 1 Guide 2021/22
2021/2022 Ligue 1 Preview Guide INTRODUCTION After a historically close title race that saw four teams in the running Ligue 1 is back with no small amount of fanfare following a busy summer. Of those four sides, while Lille and Lyon have been relatively quiet as they try to consolidate under new managers, Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain have been eager participants in the mercato, buying well in a way that addresses the two sides’ needs. Nice and Rennes have also done some canny business in the offseason, to say nothing of Marseille’s flood of arrivals, but the discussions about pro- spective title favorites in France have to start and end with the capital side. Even as rumors swirl around the potential departure of Kylian Mbappé, it’s hard to argue that Paris Saint-Ger- main haven’t done their utmost to convince their young star to stay. At least, that is, if one judges by their transfer activity. The arrivals of Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Georginio Wijnaldum, and Achraf Hakimi have bolstered Mauricio Pochettino’s side in key areas whilst also adding another layer of dynamism. If he can keep his squad happy and balanced, this team looks as potent as any in Europe, Elsewhere, Monaco are probably best-equipped to challenge, even as they will have to contend with playing European football. The arrivals of Myron Boadu, Alexander Nübel and Ismail Jakobs look to be upgrades, and so long as Niko Kovac’s exciting, front-foot football remains in place and so do all of its key elements.
