According to Dr Abdulla Al Rasasi (Head of Preventive Medicine at DHA), patients are suspected to have the virus if they have: Upper or lower respiratory systems (cough and difficulty breathing) with or without fever Travelled to a high-risk country Cared for or come into contact with people with COVID-19 Severe acute respiratory infections with no other medical explanation Vulnerable groups are at a higher risk of serious infection with the virus.
