RENAULT, MAIN AUTOMOTIVE PARTNER OF FRENCH RUGBY

Renault, an official partner of the French Rugby Federation (FFR) and the XV de national team since 2008, is pursuing its commitment to French rugby and supporting the XV de France team in the 2010 Six Nations Cup. Bernard Cambier, Senior Vice President, Market Area France will reveal the new “XV de France” limited edition models to the press on February 4, 2010, in the presence of FFR chairman Pierre Camou, trainers of the French team, and team player-ambassador . The new advertising campaigns, “Porter le nom du XV de France, ça se mérite” (“The XV de France name is something you have to earn”), will also be unveiled at the same occasion.

A major rugby partnership Alongside its long-standing motor sport commitment, Renault also maintains strong relations with French rugby. The leading French car brand and leading French network with 5,000 sales outlets, Renault is naturally involved day-to-day at a local level through amateur and professional clubs. Rugby is the number-one sport for the Renault network, which has formed 80 partnerships ranging from the national to county teams. Renault also has commitments with federal rugby and the FFR as an official partner and with the official car of the XV de France team. As part of this commitment, Renault has developed for the second year in a row a range of limited edition models sporting the emblem of the national team.

An advertising campaign based on the values of quality and reliability shared by French rugby and Renault’s “XV de France” limited edition models Renault is launching a screen and digital campaign on February 5, orchestrated by three forwards from the XV de France national team: , Fabien Barcella and Imanol Harinordoquy. The quality and reliability of the Renault XV de France limited edition models is demonstrated through a real “torture test” inflicted by the most imposing players on the XV de France team. Sold exclusively in France, the new limited edition range, comprising New Mégane Hatch and Coupé, Clio and Clio Estate, will be available in the Renault network through June 2010.
