Beth Holloway From Victim to Like many people all around the world, you have probably heard about the disappear- ance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. She had just graduated from high school and was Victor enjoying her senior trip when something terrible happened to her on the very last night before she was to come home. Natalee has not been heard from since May 30th of 2005. By her own account, Natalee’s Holloway’s mom, Beth, lived a quiet, somewhat uneventful life - - a speech pathologist for children with special needs for 22 years. Her life changed quite dramatically in the summer of 2005 when her daughter Natalee disappeared. This tragic story became the leading news mystery when it happened, and continues to make headlines today. Beth has appeared on every television network in the nation including ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, FOX, MSNBC and CNBC, as well as on international TV; and she has appeared in numerous magazine and newspaper articles here and abroad. This courageous mother captured the world’s attention as she searched for her missing daughter. PEAKERS Mark Gregston Teens Longing to Mark will speak on the topic Teens Longing to Belong at the Latino Coalition’s 6th Belong Annual Statewide Conference. Mark and Jan Gregston, LCCA, are the Executive Directors of Heartlight Ministries. They manage the day to day operations of the ministry. The Gregstons began their work with teens 34 years ago as youth ministers in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their involve- ment also with Young Life moved them to open their home to work with teens who were struggling through crisis family problems, which sparked the idea for larger residential programs for teens. During the 80's Mark helped start the residential program for teens at Kanakuk Kamps in Branson, Missouri. In 1989, Mark and his wife Jan moved to East Texas where they started a residential program for teens in Longview that they named Heartlight. Built from ground up in modern log cabin architecture, the residential program is located on 100 beautiful acres in the Piney Woods region of East Texas, about 150 miles east of Dallas. The Heartlight campus houses 48 teenagers for 9-12 months at a time. It is dedicated to providing counseling and mentoring to bring about needed behavioral changes for troubled teens from Christian families.
