Sterex is a brand leader offering the highest standards of product quality and customer service. Electrolysis (by use of a heated needle) offers a completely safe procedure for removal of lesions such as skin tags, moles, milia (tiny white lumps containing keratin), facial thread veins, blood spots, Spider Naevus (central dilated capillary with smaller capillaries and warts). For mole removal we require a GP`s written consent prior to the treatment.

Prices start from £75 for a single lesion removal.

after DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning involves the removal of the vellus facial hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. Skin will feel smooth, clean and radiant following the treatment. A sterile surgical scalpel is used to scrape the skin at a 45 degree angle. An enzyme peel is used to follow the procedure to ensure the skin is decongested. Suitable for all skin types, although pustule acne should be avoided and cleared prior to the procedure. Penetration of products after the treatment is greatly improved and make-up will glide more easily onto the skin. Skin will be more sensitive to sun exposure following the treatment , an SPF50 broad spectrum would be recommended afterwards for skin protection.

Aftercare

First 24 hours you may have slight swelling and bruising, which should subside within the next one to seven days. Do not apply makeup for 6 hours. Avoid touching the area. Arnica tablets/gel, or a cold compress from fridge can be applied. Drink plenty of water to prolong effects. Avoid smoking for 24 hours. Avoid UV exposure and extreme heat sources. Avoid flying 7 days directly after your treatment. Avoid facial massages until the area has completely healed.
