It identifies the background to the proposal and our brief in assessing the feasibility of the proposal. It also analyses the historical development of Hagley as a settlement and the anomalous boundaries that have been created as a consequence of the on-going physical development of the village. Thereafter, it identifies the legislative framework governing proposed boundary changes and explores the factors which are important in the consideration of a CGR. Finally, this document assesses the potential impact which the proposed change in the Parish boundary will have upon the governance of the Proposed Transfer Area (PTA) and the greater community of Hagley. -

Advisory Visit Hoo Brook, Worcestershire April 2018 1.0 Introduction This report is the output of a site visit undertaken by Tim Jacklin of the Wild Trout Trust to the Hoo Brook, near Kidderminster, on 27th April, 2018. Comments in this report are based on observations on the day of the site visit and discussions with the landowner. Normal convention is applied throughout the report with respect to bank identification, i.e. the banks are designated left hand bank (LHB) or right hand bank (RHB) whilst looking downstream. 2.0 Catchment / Fishery Overview The Hoo Brook rises near Bell End, between Halesowen and Bromsgrove, and flows in a westerly direction to join the River Stour at Kidderminster (Figure 1). (From http://environment.data.gov.uk/catchment‐planning/WaterBody/GB109054044530 ) 2 The Environment Agency assess the health of watercourses (using a wide range of criteria) under the Water Framework Directive (European Union legislation). The overall status of a waterbody can be high, good, moderate, poor or bad; anything worse than good is deemed to be in need of improvement by 2027. Table 1 summarises the information for the Hoo Brook. The moderate overall status of the Hoo Brook is down to excessive levels of phosphate and a moderate rating for aquatic plants and algae. These issues are undoubtedly linked, phosphate being a nutrient that influences the species composition and abundance of plants and algae. This is a very common issue, with sources of phosphate stemming from treated sewage effluent, septic tank overflows and diffuse pollution from agricultural fertilisers. -

Bromsgrove District Council - Bromsgrove District Plan Review Responses to Call for Sites Exercise – 2019/20 Tables of Sites by Parish – UPDATED NOVEMBER 2020 A Call for Sites exercise took place alongside the District Plan Review Update and Further Issues Consultation from September-November 2019. Interested parties were invited to submit sites to the Council which they believed to have development potential, for possible inclusion in the District Plan Review. The Council only formally closed the site submissions process in August 2020, to allow all parties the best opportunity to submit potential development sites. The Council now has a total of 441 sites to assess. This consists of 344 Call for Sites submissions and 97 existing SHLAA (Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment) sites which had been submitted to the Council in previous years.
