Bliok, bearer of the honorary title People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, includes such major pieces as “Restoration Artists” (1986) and “Leningrad, Siege. Year 1943” (2015). The display also includes portraits and land- scapes of various years and works from the Paris, Venice, and Chinese series by the artist. Anders Petersen was 18 years old when he first visited Cafe Lehmitz. Six years later, he returned to Ham- burg as a photographer and plunged into the milieu of the cafe’s regulars, this immersion resulting in a photographic series.
