We had to answer that question in our hearts before it became a reality, which it quickly did. Missions was the answer. It was our first answer, and the answer has never changed. Every copy of every one of my books that has ever been sold, all the cassette tapes (when tapes were a thing), the CDs (when those were a thing), the love offerings and honoraria, all the money raised at more than 350 couples conferences, the women’s retreats Alison did, the National Institute of Christian Leadership and all the rest... ALL that went to missions because our support would be taken care of. The plan was simple, and God was in it. People, wonderful, generous Spirit-filled people gave and are still giving, and the plan worked. Since 1977, Global Servants has built churches, clinics, and schools in multiple countries such as Peru, Mexico, India, Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Benin, and Togo. Many of these we built for other ministries, mostly indigenous works, and we were delighted and honored to do so. Of course, House of Grace in Thailand and Ghana, and all the churches in West Africa are still under our leadership. Now, under Travis’ capable presidential leadership, the international mission work of Global Servants continues to grow and be blessed. Thanks be to God. Looking back on it, I now believe that a $33.00 offering may have been the most important offering I ever received. With God, simple plans make for great service, and little is much. A dream, memory, and reflection (DMR) ten item questionnaire was constructed using aspects of Freudian, Jungian, and Lacanian Theory of Dream Interpretation. Fifteen dreams, five memories, and five reflections were collected from the participant at the waking episode or during a moment of deep thought.

The Seminary A History of Graduate Theological Education at Oral Roberts University A Golden Jubilee Celebration By Larry Hart, PhD INTRODUCTION Oral Roberts University (ORU) houses a world class College of Theology and Ministry which has offered theological higher education continuously for fifty years. This is not the story of this globally influential institution which pioneered Pentecostal/charismatic theological education at the university level. That story must be written in detail at a later time. This is a brief history of graduate theological education at ORU written in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the university (1965-2015) by Dr. Larry Hart, a graduate of the university, a former chaplain, and a highly regarded current professor. Closer inspection however, reveals a more complex story behind Alf Poier, a story likely to appeal to the biologically minded. The lyrical genius behind lines such as: “I like most animals on this earth, but I really prefer little rabbits and bears” and “Whoever wants to know more about animals should study Biology or inform himself on my homepage” more than makes up for the lack of melody. Perhaps criticizing the competitive nature of the entire Eurovision establishment, Poier states: “The difference between animals such as apes and primates is no bigger than between noodles and pasta” This kind of anti-establishment jibe is unlikely to win him any favours from the judges. Belgium “Sanomi” Urban Trad I like the cut of Urban Trad’s jib. They are combining traditional folk tunes with a more modern rhythm, and it works. Perhaps they are playing a very Celtic sounding tune because of Ireland’s success through Eurovision history. Perhaps Flemish folk music sounds like this too. Perhaps the greatest surprise with Urban Trad is that they have invented an “imaginary and thus universal language” for their song. With current pushes for unity in Europe, perhaps this will resound strongly with the judges. Croatia “Vise Nisam Tvoja” Claudia Beni Seventeen year-old hairdressing student, Claudia Beni will be disappointing many young European boys when she proclaims to the Latvian audience “I can’t be your lover”.
