She left Nissan in 2019. Prior to Nissan, Sara was an attorney with the Atlantic Richfield Company and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles she served on the board, and as interim executive director of My Friend's Place, a resource center for homeless youth. In Nashville she has served as board member and chair of Oasis Center (at-risk youth), as board member and treasurer of the Nashville Repertory Theater, and as board member and chair of Edgehill Neighborhood Partnership (poverty, at-risk youth and affordable housing). She is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, MA and University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA.
