The Waves have one team title and two individual medalists to their Oct. 1-2 William H. Tucker Intercollegiate credit already this season. Josh Anderson was named the WCC Player of the Month for UNM Championship Course September earlier this week. 6th/16 Albuquerque, N.M. COURSE/SCHEDULE — The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,300-yard TPC Oct. 10-12 The Prestige at PGA West Stadium Course at PGA West, located in La Quinta, Calif. There will be 18 holes each TPC Stadium Course day between Sunday and Tuesday (Oct. 10-12). La Quinta, Calif. FIELD — There are 15 teams in the fi eld: Pepperdine, Arizona State, California, Central Oct. 23-24 UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate Florida, Long Beach State, Michigan State, Oregon, Pacifi c, San Diego, Stanford, TCU, Forest Oaks Country Club Washington, UC Davis, UNC Wilmington and Vanderbilt. PEPPERDINE LINEUP — The Waves will send four of their fi ve veterans: seniors Jan. 30-Feb. 1 Arizona Intercollegiate Andrew Putnam (University Place, Wash./Life Christian Academy) and Andrew Widmar Arizona National Golf Club (El Paso, Calif./Cathedral HS), junior Josh Anderson (Murrieta, Calif./Murrieta Valley Tucson, Ariz. HS) and sophomore Johnny Mac Arthur (Newhall, Calif./Hart HS). Freshman Parker Page (Louisville, Ky./Ballard HS) will make his collegiate debut. March 21-22 Oregon Duck Invitational 2010-11 TEAM HIGHLIGHTS — Pepperdine (17-under 847) won the season-opening Eugene Country Club Husky Invitational, fi nishing ahead of host Washington by seven strokes. The Waves had Eugene, Ore. the second-best 54-hole team score in school history. A 12-under 276 during the second round tied the fi fth-best 18-hole team score in program history. April 4-5 Morris Williams Intercollegiate University of Texas Golf Club 2010-11 INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS — Josh Anderson (10-under 206) and Andrew Austin, Texas Putnam (6-under 210) fi nished 1-2 at the season-opening Husky Invitational. It was April 9-10 ASU Thunderbird Invitational Anderson’s second career victory ... Putnam (4-under 212) was tri-medalist at the William Karsten Golf Course H. Tucker Intercollegiate for his fi rst career win. Tempe, Ariz. 2010-11 HONORS — In the preseason publications, Andrew Putnam was ranked April 18-19 WCC Championships among Golfweek’s top 20 to 30 players in the country and was named one of the nation’s San Juan Oaks Golf Club top 50 players to watch by Golf World ... Josh Anderson was Golfweek’s Player of the Hollister, Calif. Week on Sept. 27 after winning the Husky Invitational ... Anderson was named WCC Player of the Month for September (his third time winning the honor). May 19-21 NCAA Regionals TBA PUTNAM — Senior Andrew Putnam earned All-American honorable mention honors as a freshman and sophomore and has begun a strong fi nal year of college golf. Over May 31-June 5 NCAA Championships the summer, he won the Pacifi c Coast Amateur Championship and qualifi ed for the U.S. Karsten Creek Golf Club Open. He’s fi nished in the top 20 in 30 of his 38 career tournaments. On Pepperdine’s Stillwater, Okla. career records lists, he’s second in scoring (72.64), fourth in top 20 fi nishes (30) and tied for fourth in top 10 results (18). ANDERSON — Junior Josh Anderson has won two career tournaments: the General Hackler Championship in spring 2010 and the Husky Invitational in fall 2010. His career 1 scoring average of 72.98 ranks fourth all-time at Pepperdine. It’s believed that he became PEPPERDINE UNIVERSITY the fi rst active Pepperdine player to compete in a PGA Tour event when he took part in QUICK FACTS the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines in February 2009.
