DOCUMENTS: A Mexican Tourist Card is necessary and may be obtained from any Mexican Consulate, Official Mexican Tourist Office or upon arrival in Mexico on presentation of proof of Canadian citizenship. For re-entry to the Dominion of Canada a medical certificate must be presented showing that you have been vaccinated for smallpox within the last three years.

CLOTHES: Normal town wear of lightweight wool or gabardine is usually worn in such high altitude areas as Mexico City. In Acapulco the rule is informal resort wear. But shorts and slacks are not acceptable there for women walking in the street.

CLIMATE: Mexico City, with a population of nearly 5,000,000 is at an altitude of 7,200 feet — the highest major city in the world. It is pleasantly cool all the year 'round. In the areas of lower altitude such as Acapulco and Fortin de las Flores, temperatures range from mild to warm.
